Job Description

The Business Development Representative position is the perfect opportunity to start and build a career in the IT security sales industry. Vinitech provides training and mentorship to support a career path leading to Inside Sales and Enterprise Sales roles. As a Business Development Representative you will be on the front lines for generating interest in Vinitech’s IT security and storage solutions. You will identify decision makers, qualify potential leads and set appointments. You will also manage and nurture a large prospect pipeline to ensure timely connections.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify decision makers through traditional prospecting and set appointments consistently meeting or exceeding goals
  • Generate demand for the company’s products and services via cold calling, email campaigns and other marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendors to facilitate new sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Maintain and manage a large pipeline of leads accurately documenting details for timely follow up on leads

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year sales related experience (prospecting, customer service or IT experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build professional rapport quickly by phone with all levels of IT executives
  • Skill and strong desire to learn new technologies quickly
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
